As an active philanthropist, Quy has volunteered, supported and served at various capacity from fundraising committee to board of directors for the following charities: The Angels’ Tim Salmon Foundation, Festival of Children, Hoag Hospital Foundation, Down Syndrome of OC, Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, SAVICE, Orangewood Foundation, Miracles for Kids and most importantly, Camp Footprints.

Besides community outreach, Quy is an investor in Joah Love (fine kids clothing), Force10 Networks (acq by Dell), Capella Photonics (acq by Alcatel) and Consumer Brands. He actively serves on the Board of Directors for CompTIA and Gen Next. On top of that, Quy is also on the Advisory Board for Indi.com, Lucy Survey, and Kaleo Software. Quy previously served on the Board of Directors and/or Advisory Board for Wescom Credit Union, Wescom Holdings, The Channel Company, Level3 Channel, USC Marshall Partners and UCI Athletic Director’s Advisory Board.
